Core Responsibilities
- Supply Chain Synchronization: Aligning high-speed printing press outputs with transportation schedules (trucking, fleets, dispatch) to prevent logistical bottlenecks.
- System Integration: Managing or developing logistics IT systems that track newspaper bundles from printing to last-mile delivery and distribution centers.
- Route Optimization: Analyzing and updating delivery routes and fleet schedules to maximize fuel efficiency and meet strict morning delivery deadlines.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Acting as the central point of contact between printing plants, transport vendors, and distribution agents.
- Risk & Issue Resolution: Rapidly addressing disruptions such as mechanical failures, traffic delays, or supply shortages by rerouting shipments on the fly.

- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of freight, fleet management, and distribution networks.
- IT & Data Literacy: Proficiency in Logistics Management Software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools.

Requirements and skills
- Previous experience as a Business Operations Manager or in a similar role
- Good knowledge of operations management
- Experience with forecasting models
- Experience with databases and project management software
- The ability to interpret financial data and allocate budgets
- Exceptional communication skills
