Operations Lead (Fintech and Payments)

We are looking for a highly experienced Operations Lead to oversee and scale operations across two fast-growing fintech startups.
This role requires a strategic operator with deep expertise in payments, high-risk merchant processing, and international banking workflows, capable of building structure in complex environments and ensuring operational excellence across multiple business lines.
You will be responsible for managing mission-critical processes — from payment operations and merchant onboarding to compliance coordination and cross-functional execution.
Precision, ownership, and the ability to operate in high-stakes environments are essential.

What You’ll Do
Lead and scale operations across two fintech products/startups
Oversee end-to-end payment flows and monitor performance
Coordinate cross-functional teams (finance, support, engineering, compliance)
Manage operational escalations and resolve critical incidents
Own and improve internal processes, SOPs, and documentation
Ensure smooth day-to-day execution across the payment stack
Work closely with external partners — banks, processors, and service providers
Support high-risk merchant onboarding and MID-related processes
Maintain operational discipline across multi-jurisdiction setups

We’re Looking For Someone Who
Has strong experience in fintech / payments operations
Understands payment flows, routing, and approval mechanics
Has worked with high-risk environments or complex payment setups
Can manage multiple priorities across different products/teams
Is highly organized, detail-oriented, and execution-driven
Has strong communication and coordination skills
Is comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
Thinks in terms of systems, efficiency, and scalability

Strong Plus
Experience with high-risk processors (Rocketgate, Sticky.io, Konnektive, NMI, Authorize.net, etc.)
Understanding of gateway routing, fraud controls, and risk scoring
Experience working with international banking partners
Exposure to multi-entity or multi-jurisdiction business structures
Startup mindset — ability to bring order into evolving processes
Experience working close to the Dubai time zone
