Operations Manager - 2nd Shift

What You’ll Do
- Lead a 2nd Shift operation of approximately 75+ team members through two department managers in a high-volume processing center
- Success in this role is measured through safety performance, productivity, shipping execution, quality, labor efficiency leadership development. (KPI's
- Partner with facility leadership to lead continuous improvement initiatives that eliminate waste, improve throughput, and increase quality with reducing operating cost.
- Directly manage and develop the Production Manager, Fulfillment Manager, and additional operational leadership.
- Build a reliable, engaged team through effective hiring support, coaching, performance management, and accountability.
- Through department leaders, ensure customer orders meet shipping deadlines while maintaining quality, productivity, and accuracy expectations.
- Use data and floor observations to improve staffing, workflow, labor planning, and team performance.
- Drive safety, compliance, forklift support, and a clean, organized warehouse environment.
- Partner with HR, safety, maintenance, and other leaders to resolve operational issues and support growth.
- Build bench strength by identifying high-potential employees and creating development plans for future leads and managers.
- Ensure consistent execution of standard work, training requirements, PPE, powered-equipment procedures, and housekeeping expectations.
- Support peak-volume planning and adjust labor, priorities, and workflows as business needs change.
Location: Cockrell Hill area of Dallas, Texas
Salary: $75,000 - $80,000/yr
This range reflects the good-faith hiring base salary range for this position. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, experience, and education/training.
