OPERATIONS MANAGER
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Plan, coordinate and oversee the day-to-day operational activities of the company to support efficient business and project operations.
• Coordinate manpower, vehicles, equipment, materials and other operational resources according to project and business requirements.
• Monitor daily operational schedules and ensure resources are deployed efficiently to the required work locations.
• Coordinate with project teams, clients, contractors, suppliers and internal departments regarding operational requirements and schedules.
• Monitor operational performance, identify delays, resource shortages and other operational issues, and coordinate appropriate follow-up actions.
• Supervise and coordinate operational and administrative personnel and provide guidance on daily work requirements.
• Maintain and review operational records, reports, schedules, documentation and relevant company correspondence.
• Coordinate vehicle and equipment utilisation, maintenance schedules and operational availability.
• Assist management in developing and implementing operational procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor manpower deployment and coordinate work schedules according to operational and project requirements.
• Support procurement, logistics, delivery and mobilisation arrangements required for company operations and projects.
• Coordinate administrative and IT-related operational requirements, including maintaining electronic records, reports and company information.
• Prepare regular operational performance and progress reports for management review.
• Ensure operational activities comply with company procedures, workplace safety requirements and applicable site requirements.
• Identify operational risks and recommend practical improvements to management.
• Liaise with relevant personnel regarding site access, delivery arrangements, work schedules and operational logistics.
• Perform other operations-management duties according to the company's business and project requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Operations Management or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in operations, administration, logistics, production, project support or related management functions.
• Experience in an engineering, construction, logistics, production or project-based working environment will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of day-to-day business operations, manpower coordination, resource planning and operational administration.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, electronic documentation and computer-based administrative systems.
• Experience in coordinating manpower, vehicles, equipment, schedules and operational resources will be an advantage.
• Strong organisational, planning, coordination and problem-solving skills.
• Good leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to coordinate employees and operational teams.
• Able to communicate effectively with clients, contractors, suppliers and internal departments.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to prepare operational reports, maintain records and follow up on operational matters independently.
• Able to work in a project-based environment and coordinate multiple operational requirements.
