Operations Manager

Minimum Requirements:

Grade 12
5 years Management Experience in Operations
Able to develop and implement logistic systems and techniques which will impact on the organization as an administration whole.
Able to manage all functions of logistics in the organization.
Able to determine and develop logistic strategy for entire organisation.
Knowledge of all functions of logistics which will impact the entire organization.
Knowledge of strategy pertaining to logistics.
Knowledge of latest developments in the logistics field.

Responsibilities:

Ensure that debriefing and pre-briefing standards are adhered to by ensuring that the Agents / Debriefers, Drivers and all related staff perform their duties to the required standard.
Maintain Branch Efficiencies by ensuring that Company Procedures are implemented and adhered to.
Ensure optimized staff utilization.
Take full control and responsibility of all staff and their duties.
Ensure all staff follow processes and procedures.
Handling operational queries and problems timeously and efficiently
Ensure that Agents / Debriefers debrief thoroughly according to Debriefing Procedure
Ensure that Debriefers inspect vehicles thoroughly and report damages to Fleet Manager immediately.
Ensure Customer service levels are met at all times.
