Cherokee Strategic Edge is seeking a FIROC Operations Manager to support INSCOM’s Training and Readiness Exercise (TREX) program. The FIROC Operations Manager Develops, maintains, and / or delivers training material to drive intelligence goals, objectives, tradecraft, and standards. Provides lesson plans / presentations / curricula in support of educational goals and maintains materiel within the assigned educational system (i.e. AGILE, Training Development Capability (TDC), etc.). Reviews emerging policy and doctrine publications, provides feedback, and assesses for incorporation into training products. Develops / maintains training records and tracking systems as required or designated by the Government.

FIROC Operations Manager Responsibilities Include:
Lead, review and validate work products, instructional materials, scenario products, reports, and deliverables before submission. Ensure products meet required standards and directly support the customer’s mission and operational requirements.
Provide routine professional counseling, mentorship, coaching, and performance feedback to assigned contractor personnel. Document performance concerns, recognize strong performance, identify development needs, and coordinate with the Program Manager on performance-management actions when necessary.
Establish clear performance expectations, communicate priorities, track workload and progress, identify resource constraints, and elevate risks or issues to the Program Manager and Government lead in a timely manner.
Develop, maintain, and deliver training material that drives intelligence goals, objectives, tradecraft, and standards.
Produce lesson plans, presentations, and curricula in support of educational objectives and maintain all material within the assigned educational system (e.g., AGILE, Training Development Capability).
Review emerging policy and doctrine publications, provides feedback, and assesses applicability for incorporation into training products.
Develop and maintain training records and tracking systems as required or designated by the Government.
Develop realistic, repeatable training environments that allow students and units to apply intelligence tradecraft under operationally relevant conditions.
Facilitate working sessions—such as requirements breakdown, collection and analysis planning, and product reviews—to drive collaboration and consensus.
Provide quality assurance through peer review, product checks, and facilitation of corrective actions.
Coordinate with developers to refine ION functionality based on operational use, user feedback, after-action findings, and emerging technology opportunities
Apply generative AI tools to support scenario development, writing, editing, brainstorming, workflow acceleration, and training content refinement.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
FIROC Operations Manager Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
Active TS/SCI security clearance
Minimum of 12 years as an MOS 35F (All-Source Analyst)
DCGS-A or DIS All-Source Analyst or equivalent experience as an All-Source Analyst on DCGS-A or DIS spanning MICO, BCT, DIV-Corps level echelons.
Minimum 12 years of Army Military Intelligence experience.
Minimum of 2 years as an instructor on the DCGS-A or DIS system.
Graduate of the Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC) or equivalent Intelligence Community instructor course (i.e., NGA College, NSA ADET, etc.).
Proficiency in DCGS-A or DIS software applications.
Master’s Degree preferred
Must attend and graduate DISFC, GEP, and DISMGC within 90 days.
Ability to define problems, supervise studies and lead surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions.
Demonstrates analytic leadership and expertise in identifying, planning, developing, and executing analytic production methodologies, tradecraft and techniques aligned with labor category mission.
Extensive ability to provide strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to Defense planners and policymakers (e.g. Undersecretary level or higher).
