We are seeking a dependable, safety‑driven, and detail‑oriented Operations Manager to oversee daily delivery operations and ensure all performance, safety, and compliance standards are consistently met. This role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to manage fast‑paced operational demands while supporting Operations Coordinators, Lead Dispatchers, Delivery Associates and fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion a strong culture of safety and compliance across all operational functions.

• Analyze performance data, provide recommendations, and drive continuous process improvements with Operations Coordinators, Lead Dispatchers and Delivery Associates.

• Serve as the primary safety leader, reinforcing company values and expectations daily.

• Coordinate loadout, rescues, and end‑of‑day operational tasks; maintain flexibility to support all evolving operational needs.

• Work 10+ hour shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays; complete at least one delivery route every 14 days.

• Review route commitments and allocate fleet resources efficiently.

• Ensure vehicle roadworthiness, ground unsafe vehicles, and secure replacements promptly to maintain operational continuity.

• Coordinate repairs using internal vendors and third‑party partners to minimize downtime.

• Assist with emergency field repairs, including minor fixes, pullouts, tire changes, and tow coordination.

• Manage accident reporting, documentation, and communication with insurance partners.

• Maintain continuous communication with Operations Coordinators, Lead Dispatchers and Delivery Associates throughout their shift and escalate emergencies appropriately.

• Monitor performance metrics, conduct coaching sessions, and address performance gaps or policy violations.

• Ensure compliance with DVIC pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and maintain accuracy across all required systems and logs.

• Conduct end‑of‑shift debriefs with Operations Coordinators, Lead Dispatchers and Delivery Associates to ensure proper operational closeout.
