OurClient is a established international technology solutions provider specialising in technical products and services for industrial and commercial applications.

Responsibilities

We’re looking for an experienced Operations Manager in a hands-on role to oversee end-to-end operational activities, including production planning, supplier management, inventory control, logistics, and fulfilment.

• Oversee supply chain and production planning to ensure timely order fulfilment and efficient resource utilisation;
• Manage external manufacturing partners, suppliers, and service providers, including delivery schedules, quality standards, costs, and performance;
• Coordinate material requirements, inventory levels, purchasing activities, and production capacity;
• Manage customer orders, shipping arrangements, and import/export documentation to ensure smooth delivery;
• Oversee product servicing, repairs, calibration, and customer issue resolution, working with technical teams to investigate product failures and improve quality;
• Monitor operational performance, costs, forecasts, and key metrics, preparing reports to support management decisions;
• Develop and improve operational procedures, workflows, and supply chain processes;
• Coordinate engineering changes and product updates with technical and manufacturing teams to ensure effective implementation;
• Ensure compliance with relevant quality, safety, and regulatory requirements;
• Oversee general operational and facilities matters, supporting the smooth running of the business.

Requirements

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or a related field;
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or operations;
• Experience managing suppliers, contract manufacturers, and outsourced service providers;
• Good technical understanding of manufactured products, with experience in service, repair, or quality-related activities being an advantage;
• Ability to manage competing priorities and balance managerial responsibilities with day-to-day operational tasks;
• Hands-on experience with ERP / MRP systems and strong Microsoft Excel skills;
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving abilities;
• Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
