Job Summary

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the frozen food

business, ensuring efficient warehouse operations, inventory control, cold chain management,

logistics coordination, and compliance with food safety and workplace safety standards. The role

requires strong leadership, operational planning, and problem-solving skills to ensure productivity,

quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

📦 Operations Management

• Oversee daily warehouse, cold storage, inventory, and distribution operations.

• Ensure smooth receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of frozen food products.

• Monitor stock levels and inventory accuracy.

• Ensure timely order fulfilment and delivery.

Cold Chain Management

• Ensure the integrity of the cold chain throughout storage, handling, and transportation.

• Monitor freezer and cold room temperatures and ensure compliance with food safety

requirements.

• Investigate and resolve any cold chain or operational issues promptly.

👥 Team Leadership

• Supervise warehouse staff, drivers, and operations personnel.

• Plan work schedules and allocate manpower efficiently.

• Conduct staff training and enforce company policies and SOPs.

📋 Compliance & Safety• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, workplace safety, and company regulations.

• Conduct regular operational and safety inspections.

• Maintain proper operational records and documentation.

🚚 Logistics & Customer Support

• Coordinate with suppliers, transport providers, and customers to ensure timely deliveries.

• Resolve operational issues and customer complaints efficiently.

• Improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.

Cold Room Requirement

• The Operations Manager is required to enter and work in the company's cold room and

freezer facilities for inspections, inventory verification, stock management, quality checks,

and operational supervision.

• Must be willing to work in temperatures ranging from -18°C to 5°C as operationally

required.

• Must wear the required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and comply with all

workplace safety and food safety procedures.

• Must be physically fit to work in cold environments and handle frozen food products when

necessary.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Logistics,

Business, or a related field.

• Minimum 4 years of operations management experience, preferably in the frozen food,

FMCG, food manufacturing, or cold storage industry.

• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and cold chain management.

• Familiarity with food safety standards and workplace safety regulations.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems.
