Job Summary
Manage daily project operations and manpower deployment to ensure productivity, safety, and compliance across multiple shifts in infrastructure and rail projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily project operations and deploy manpower efficiently to meet project demands
- Lead supervisors, operators, and support personnel across multiple shifts to achieve operational goals
- Plan and execute manpower scheduling, including rosters, attendance, leave, overtime, and replacements to maintain workforce readiness
- Coordinate with clients, project teams, and stakeholders to align operational activities and resolve issues
- Enforce compliance with safety regulations, operational procedures, and project instructions to maintain a safe work environment
- Monitor key performance indicators such as productivity, attendance, incidents, manpower utilization, and operational efficiency
- Identify and resolve manpower, site, and operational issues promptly to minimize disruptions
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly operational reports to management for informed decision-making
- Control operational costs by managing overtime and optimizing manpower efficiency
- Support night operations, weekend shifts, and emergency activities as required to ensure continuous project progress
Required competencies and certifications
- Able to work on-site in the JRL project area and support night operations when required
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Operations, Logistics, Transport, Construction Management, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, including management or supervisory roles
- Experience managing a large workforce of 100 personnel or more
- Experience in rail, MRT, infrastructure, construction, logistics, or transport operations
- Strong leadership, manpower planning, client coordination, and problem-solving skills
- Good understanding of workplace safety and operational risk management
