We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our dedicated team in the Steel Detailing team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure company operational procedures run efficiently, sustainably, and support overall business profitability
• Responsible for supervising day-to-day managerial functions, setting training standards, analyzing and improving organizational processes, and work to improve quality, productivity and efficiency
• Provide inspired leadership for the organization
• Make important policies, planning and strategy decisions
• Write, edit, and review operational policies and process documentation
• Oversee reporting & planning
• Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company
• Day-to-day management of projects and staff to ensure quality, client standards and schedule requirements are met
• Schedule and coordinate trainings and ensure positive outcomes
• Coordinate with all Project Managers and Asst. Project Manager for drawing packages and issue to the client per scheduled delivery dates
• Review staffing requirements and allotment of available resources to various phases of new steel projects
• Maintain work flow by observing control points and monitoring personnel resources, implementing cost reductions, and facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points
• Periodic quality checks of the drawings/models to ensure good quality work
• Interface with other personnel and various department managers to ensure workflow quality
• Reviewing Production Reports for India offices
• Review customer standards and ensure proper functioning for projects to meet the client standards
• Lead and motivate team to deliver excellent performance
• Conduct review meetings in order to inform employees about production plans, priorities and issues to be resolved
• Monitor delivery quality and coordinate with project teams to ensure all deliverables meet client requirements, schedules, and quality standards
• Coordinate with department heads and senior management to resolve critical operational issues and support business continuity
• Ensure that OT hours are not being abused

Qualifications:

• Under Grad: B. Tech/B.E. - Civil, Mechanical
• Diploma: Any Postgraduate - Any Specialization, PG Diploma - Any Specialization, Civil, Mechanical
• 15+ Years of experience in the Steel Detailing industry willing to consider candidates who can demonstrate significant experience in a related field
• 10+ Years of experience in Project Management
• Advanced level of knowledge of Tekla Structures
• Must know AISC & CISC Standards
• Considerable proficiency and experience in working on Commercial US Projects.
• Experience in structural and miscellaneous steel construction, fabrication, and the ability to read drawings
• Proven project management and coordination skills
• Self-motivated and ability to complete multiple tasks with minimal guidance
• Deadline-driven with attention to detail
• Must have 5+ years’ experience in AISC / CISC Projects
• Must have good communication skills. (Written & spoken)
• Must have good experience in Model Checking & Erection Checking
