Operations Manager
Key responsibilities
- Assist in planning, coordinating and executing recreational, sports and club events, tournaments and activities
- Support daily operations of sports and recreational facilities, ensuring readiness, cleanliness and safety at all times
- Liaise with internal departments, coaches, instructors, vendors and external partners for event and programme delivery
- Provide on-site operational support during events, including setup, crowd coordination and post-event teardown
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety guidelines and risk management requirements
- Handle members' enquiries, feedback and service recovery in a professional manner
- Assist in scheduling, logistics planning and resource allocation for activities and events
- Maintain proper documentation, reports and inventory related to recreation and events operations
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with the Club's development and transformation journey
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Management
Requirements
- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Sports Management, Events Management, Hospitality or related discipline
- Prior experience in recreation, sports operations, events management or hospitality industry preferred
- Strong organisational and coordination skills with attention to detail
- Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Service-oriented, proactive and able to work well in a team
- Able to meet the physical demands of the role and comfortable with on-site operational duties (6 days, rest day not fixed)
