Te Tūranga - About the role
We're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our morning shift team at our Landing Drive Distribution Centre (LDDC) in Māngere. This is a key leadership role responsible for delivering operational excellence, building an engaged and high-performing team, and ensuring we continue to provide outstanding service to our stores and customers.
You'll also:
- Lead, coach and develop Team Leaders and wider operational teams, fostering a strong People First culture.
- Ensure the shift is effectively resourced and operating efficiently through proactive planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive operational performance, productivity and cost efficiency while maintaining budget expectations.
- Partner with key stakeholders to consistently deliver service standards and business objectives.
- Champion our Journey to Zero safety goals, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment for all team members.
Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00am – 2:30pm

You'll be a collaborative and engaging people leader who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment. You'll bring strong commercial thinking, proven leadership capability, and the ability to influence outcomes across a complex supply chain network.
We're ideally looking for:
- Leadership experience within a distribution, logistics, warehousing or broader supply chain environment.
- Experience in an Operations Manager or equivalent leadership role.
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to make sound decisions, manage competing priorities and adapt quickly to changing business needs.
- A passion for leading people, developing capability and driving continuous improvement.
