Neither do we. Every day - and every night - millions of calls, messages, and data transmissions flow through TDC NET's infrastructure. When something goes wrong, you are the one who steps up: bringing everything together, keeping a cool head, and ensuring that both customers and colleagues know exactly what is happening. Are you the type of person who thrives on taking charge when others lose overview and control? Then you might be the person we're looking for. About the job We are looking for an Operations Manager (Major Incident Manager) to join a team of five skilled colleagues. We work at the heart of our Network Operations Center and are responsible for coordinating fault resolution and providing accurate and timely communication when serious network incidents occur. You will be involved when it matters most - during critical incidents where decisions must be made quickly and where your ability to communicate clearly is essential. Your customers include some of Denmark's largest service providers, and they expect calmness and control when a crisis occurs. You will be part of a 24/7/365 shift rotation, including on-site day shifts. What You Will Be Doing Lead the operational response during critical service disruptions and coordinate technical teams - both internally and with our partners. Ensure fast, efficient, and controlled fault resolution, using situational awareness and decisive action as your key tools. Deliver clear and precise communication to both the organization and customers. In addition to your contribution during critical incidents, you will act as a coordinating and leadership resource across our NOC. Together with the other Operations Managers, drive new initiatives, contribute to daily operations, and help prevent escalations. “Our Operations Managers take ownership of critical incidents from first response through resolution, working alongside skilled colleagues in a fast paced environment. This is your chance to sit at the heart of TDC NET's Network Operating Center. If you thrive in an environment where no two days look the same, this is the role for you." - Lasse Freisleben Aagesen, Head of Major Incident Management About you What we believe you'll recognize in yourself Your educational background is less important to us - however, experience from a similar role is a significant advantage. You may previously have worked as an Incident Manager, Problem Manager, Service Delivery Manager, Operations Manager, or Major Incident Manager. You are skilled at solving problems, prioritizing your time, and thinking analytically, even under pressure. You take ownership, provide direction, and can translate technical complexity into something everyone can understand - whether they are technicians or executives. And when a crisis arises? You are the person who maintains the overview, brings the team together, and makes the right decisions under pressure. You speak and write English fluently, as communication is at the core of everything you do.
