Operations Manager (Marine Engine Repairs)

RightKey Partners has partnered with an established international marine services organisation seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join its Singapore team.

Responsibilities

• Manage marine engine repair projects from initial enquiry and inspection through quotation, mobilisation, execution and completion
• Assess repair requirements and prepare accurate technical and commercial quotations
• Coordinate and supervise service engineers, technicians, subcontractors and onboard repair activities
• Oversee the repair and overhaul of 2-stroke and 4-stroke marine engines
• Ensure projects are completed safely, within schedule, budget and required quality standards
• Liaise directly with shipowners, technical superintendents, chief engineers and other customers
• Prepare service reports, completion documentation and project updates
• Attend vessels, shipyards or anchorages when operationally required

Requirements

• At least 5 to 6 years of relevant marine engine repair or ship repair experience
• Strong practical knowledge of both 2-stroke and 4-stroke marine engines
• Previous experience preparing repair quotations, cost estimates or technical proposals
• Proven ability to manage repair projects and technical teams
• Strong customer communication, planning and problem-solving capabilities
• Diploma or degree in Marine, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline is advantageous

This is primarily an office-based position in Singapore, with onboard attendance required when necessary. A competitive remuneration package and performance bonus will be offered to the successful candidate.
