Operations Manager – Mining / Explosives

Overview

Responsible for managing operations, ensuring safe delivery of services, and supporting technical and project execution within mining environments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage daily operational activities and logistics
   
2. Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
   
3. Coordinate project implementation and delivery
   
4. Engage with customers to understand operational needs
   
5. Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement
   
6. Support technical services and product application
   
7. Train and support teams and clients on solutions
   
8. Ensure service delivery meets contractual requirements
   

Requirements & Experience

• Degree in Mining / Chemical Engineering or similar
  
• 5+ years experience in mining or explosives environment
  
• Strong operational and technical understanding
  
• Experience in drill & blast or mining services
  
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills
  
• Experience managing projects and operations
  
• Knowledge of safety standards in mining
  
• Ability to work on-site and in remote locations
