Operations Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the company's daily operations and ensure smooth business performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing operational processes, leading teams, improving productivity, maintaining service quality, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and oversee daily operational activities.
- Lead and supervise operations staff, drivers, warehouse personnel, and supervisors.
- Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and workflow improvements.
- Monitor productivity, service quality, and operational performance to achieve company targets.
- Coordinate manpower, vehicles, equipment, and resources efficiently.
- Work closely with the sales, customer service, warehouse, and finance departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Resolve operational issues, customer escalations, and service disruptions promptly.
- Monitor operating costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimisation.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety requirements, company policies, and relevant regulations.
- Prepare operational reports, analyse performance metrics, and recommend improvements.
- Train, coach, and evaluate employees to enhance performance and support career development.
Job Requirements
Minimum 5 years of relevant operations management experience.
Experience in logistics, warehousing, moving services, manufacturing, or service operations is an advantage.
Strong leadership, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under pressure.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and operational management systems.
Good analytical and decision-making abilities.
Familiarity with Singapore workplace safety and operational compliance requirements is preferred.
