The Operations Manager is responsible for directing the daily activities of the warehouse, including labor scheduling, supervision and the proper utilization of space, equipment and manpower. Key responsibilities include: Staffing, warehouse operations, maintenance of the facility and equipment, implementation of safety, security, housekeeping and sanitation programs, budgeting and customer service.

- Evidence of efficient operation – financial results, retention of key staff, incident reports, quality management feedback
- Staffing requirements met at all times (no under/over staffing)
- Maintenance schedule – no incidents due to poor maintenance
- Customer feedback
- Evidence of focus on continuous improvement of services to customers
- Equipment purchasing as per company policies and procedures
- Proactive communication of maintenance occurring on site to relevant parties
- Processes, policies etc are documented over time and implemented
- Training programs established
- KPI’s established
- Customer and quality targets met or exceeded at all times
- Results of safety audits
Lo que nos gustaría que aportes
- Year 12 general passes adapt to local requirement
- Relevant transportation/supply chain management qualifications
- At least 5 years experience in senior distribution/inventory control/transportation roles
- Proven knowledge and understanding of inventory control
- Knowledge of distribution and inventory control IT software + MS OFFICE
- Proven skill managing staff in a distribution centre environment
