About the Role
Our client, a luxury hospitality brand, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of its hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations across all hotel departments.
- Develop and implement SOPs that uphold luxury hospitality standards.
- Manage operational budgets and monitor financial performance.
- Drive revenue growth and cost optimization initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop hotel staff.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
- Oversee facility maintenance, vendor management, and operational logistics.
- Prepare and present operational and financial performance reports.
- Drive initiatives that improve guest satisfaction, staff engagement, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA or professional certification in Hospitality Operations is an advantage.
- 3–7 years of progressive leadership experience in hotel operations, including at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, and Facility Management.
- Proven experience in budgeting, financial reporting, revenue optimization, and cost control.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and people management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel/property management software.
- Good knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Familiarity with the Lagos hospitality market is an advantage.
