Operations Personnel (Recovery)
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and assign vehicle recovery jobs to towing operators and recovery personnel.
Keep customers updated on the status and estimated arrival time of recovery services.
Verify recovery requests, vehicle details, and required documents before deployment.
Monitor recovery progress and ensure vehicles are delivered to the correct location.
Provide basic roadside assistance, including battery replacement and tyre puncture repairs.
Ensure tools, equipment, and recovery supplies are well maintained and ready for use.
Update job progress and recovery records in the company's system.
Report any issues or difficult cases to the supervisor promptly.
Always follow company procedures and road safety regulations.
Key Requirements
Min 1 year of experience in vehicle recovery, roadside assistance, fleet operations, logistics, dispatch, repossession, or a related operational role is preferred.
Must possess valid Class 3 or Class 4 driving licence.
Basic automotive knowledge, particularly in battery replacement and tyre repair, is an advantage.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Able to work independently and remain calm under pressure.
