Operations & Procurement Executive

A lighting products wholesale company is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and proactive Operations & Procurement Executive to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will work closely with Management and will play a key role in the timely and cost-effective sourcing of products to support business needs, managing procurement activities, and building strong relationships with suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the GM to coordinate and oversee daily operational activities to ensure smooth business operations.

- Manage the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotations, comparing prices, and negotiating terms and conditions.

- Issue purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods.

- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate stock replenishment to meet business and customer requirements.

- Liaise with internal departments, suppliers, and freight forwarders on orders, deliveries, and shipment arrangements.

- Prepare and maintain accurate records of documentations pertaining to purchases and operations.

- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, optimize procurement costs, and streamline work processes.

- Handle ad hoc administrative and operational duties as assigned.

Requirements:

- Diploma or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Logistics, Procurement, or a related field.

- Relevant experience in operations, procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management will be an advantage.

- Good communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

- Strong organizational skills with good attention to detail and the ability to multitask.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experience with inventory management or ERP systems will be an advantage.

- Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Willingness to learn, adapt, and take initiative in a fast-paced working environment.
