Operations Readiness Manager
NewBe an early applicantPURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Ensure the organisation, people, procedures, spare parts and systems are ready before commercial start-up of each plant.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Design operations organisation and shift models.
· Develop SOPs, work instructions and permit systems.
· Prepare recruitment and training plans with HR.
· Establish maintenance strategy, spare parts and CMMS readiness.
· Coordinate operating manuals, vendor training and competence matrices.
· Lead start-up, ramp-up and handover readiness reviews.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CAPABILITY
· Experience in industrial plant operations, maintenance/production management or operations readiness.
· Understanding of commissioning and production start-up.
· Strong practical process and people-management capability.
· Ability to build operating systems from a greenfield starting point.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
· Greenfield plant start-up experience.
· CMMS / SAP PM expertise.
· Training and competence-management experience.
KEY SUCCESS MEASURES
· Operations organisation staffed and trained before start-up.
· Critical spares and maintenance systems ready.
· Stable ramp-up with controlled handover from projects.
RECRUITMENT PRINCIPLE We are looking first and foremost for hands-on implementers with a proven record of taking real industrial or infrastructure projects from planning through procurement, construction, commissioning and operation.
The roles are part of an international renewable-energy, circular-economy, biorefining and industrial side-stream utilisation investment programme with Côte dIvoire as the principal implementation country. The portfolio includes both fast-start production projects and later large-scale industrial investments.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
A reasonable level of working English is essential. French language skills are a major advantage.

EMPLOYMENT AND LOCATION
Employment form, work location and travel requirements will be defined role by role. Some positions may begin in Finland or elsewhere in Europe, but several key roles will require significant presence in Côte dIvoire during implementation phases.
