Operations Representative Dallas

Task Responsibilities

Supervise all operational processes of the station

  • By executing defined administrative tasks and duties
  • By supervising the station including GSA and GHA staff
  • By notifying the relevant department of the company about new legal requirements or administration procedures within the station that might have an impact on Cargolux’ operations or activities
  • By representing the company in local meeting(s) on request and if required
  • By reviewing vendor invoices on operational level
  • By implementing and enforcing Cargolux purchasing policy

Ensure safe and reliable completion of all ground operations activities

  • By ensuring all activities with regard to safety, security, quality, effectiveness and efficiency of activities foreseen in local and international laws and regulations for the legal representative of Cargolux in the station
  • By ensuring that ground processes are performed in accordance with the requirements of the Ground Ops Quality System
  • By ensuring that customers’ needs and expectations are understood and met (more specifically, but not limited to dangerous goods, live animals, perishables, off-size cargo ….)
  • By assisting the station in any operational related matters
  • By monitoring work-processes and supervising Ground Handling Agents, trucking companies and operation staff
  • By ensuring compliance regarding safety with the provisions of the GOM (GROUND OPS MANUAL), the Security Program manual and other corporate document as applicable.
  • By arranging and coordinating Road Feeder Services locally, in conjunction with Supplier Management Transportation
  • By monitoring service level agreements (SLA) with suppliers
  • By addressing any supplier issues to the Operations Manager

Guarantee that flight operations activities are performed as per CV processes and procedures by the local Ground OPS representative(s)

  • By ensuring that following listed flight operational services, but not limited to: Weather, Notams, Flight plans, Operational flight plans, Crew briefings, Crew callout, Crew transportation (to/from hotel), are provided as per flight operations manual
  • By ensuring that all necessary documentation pertaining to a flight are collated and stored for the period required by EASA OPS
  • To maintain professional and technical knowledge
  • By attending regular in-house trainings and attending educational workshops
  • By reviewing professional publications
  • By establishing personal networks
  • By assisting in projects delegated by the superior
  • By attending departmental meetings and contribute to team effort
  • By acting as back-up for employees and colleagues

Essential Requirements

  • Previous experience in logistics, warehouse, freight forwarding, airport operations, or a related field is an asset.
  • Good understanding of operational, safety, and security procedures.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook and Excel
  • Ability to adapt to new softwares, experience of Icargo or similar software is a plus
  • Good command of English.

Working Conditions

  • Full-time position
  • Based in Dallas
  • Salary range 49,000 – 55,000 USD annually depending on seniority and skills of the selected candidate
