Operations Specialist - Control Tower
As an Operations Specialist, you’ll help ensure the smooth and efficient execution of our logistics operations across regions. You’ll coordinate shipments, reverse logistics, warehousing and container movements while acting as a key point of contact for customers, suppliers and internal teams. You’ll also resolve operational issues, maintain accurate data and documentation, and identify opportunities to improve processes and service delivery.
📍 Location: We need this individual to be within commutable distance to Hyderabad, India given it is an on-site position.

What You'll Do:
Coordinate and monitor operational activities, including container positioning, reverse logistics, warehousing, reception, quality checks and container selection
Schedule and monitor customer shipments and reverse logistics bookings, ensuring efficient and timely execution
Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, working with colleagues and third-party partners to support smooth operations and positive customer relationships
Resolve supplier and operational issues, and support country-level setup improvements and solutions
Maintain accurate Air/Ocean Fact Sheets across Excel, relevant systems and SkyNet platforms
Identify activities requiring special handling, recommend process improvements and implement approved solutions within your area of responsibility
Maintain knowledge of freight forwarding and logistics services, including order management, reverse logistics, customs brokerage, monitoring and control services, and cost optimisation
Maintain accurate customer records, reports, shipment documentation and operational data
Ensure compliance with customer SOPs, company standards, government filing requirements and applicable regulations
Maintain and update Master Data, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems
What You'll Bring:
Experience in logistics, supply chain or operations, ideally within pharmaceutical, temperature-controlled or other regulated environments
Good knowledge of operational processes, including container logistics, Service Centre management and reverse logistics
Experience coordinating international, cross-functional operations and supporting process improvement, digital transformation or automation initiatives
Understanding of quality management systems, SOP creation and process documentation
Proficiency with tools such as Confluence, Jira, Excel and dashboarding platforms such as Power BI or Tableau, with the ability to analyse data and identify practical solutions
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across cultures, functions and time zones. Fluent English; German is an advantage
