Operations Specialist

The Operations Specialist role will cover the Gardant Communities in Illinois, Indiana and Ohio regions.

Responsibilities:

  • Provides onsite day-to-day support in absence of an Executive Director
  • Establishes the Community’s goals and objectives
  • Implementing organizational, financial, marketing plans, policies and procedures
  • Evaluates the Community’s adherence to all applicable regulations and approved operating procedures
  • Reviews Community’s liability, property, and compensation insurance coverage and provides recommendations to ownership
  • Acts as an on-call resource to the Communities and Gardant on a 24-hour basis to address urgent matters
  • Reviews and monitors account receivable activities at each Community to ensure collection and billing process/policies are adhered to
  • Conducts formal performance evaluations at the end of the introductory period and on an annual basis
  • Supports in the planning and provision of informational in-services and other staff development activities
  • Participates in department manager interviews and the hiring process
  • Monitors Community’s Quality Improvement and safety programs
  • Evaluates overall operations including, but not limited to, ensuring compliance with daily standup meetings, call light review, QAPI program, rent readiness, finance & revenue accounting and TELS compliance
  • Assists Senior - RDO with conducting Operations Training for new Executive Directors and Business Office Managers as assigned
