Operations Specialist - Supply Chain & Customer Operations

You should be highly responsive, proactive and organised, with strong communication skills and a natural inclination towards numbers, systems and process management. You should be comfortable working with ERPs and technology platforms, and be a quick learner who can adapt to new responsibilities.

This is a hands-on role offering significant exposure to business operations and senior leadership. The scope of responsibilities will evolve based on the individual's capabilities, strengths and interests.

Key Responsibilities:

The role will primarily focus on managing and strengthening customer and operational processes across the organisation.

Depending on the candidate's capabilities, responsibilities may include:

1. Supply Chain & Physical Operations:

- Managing physical supply chain operations, including procurement coordination, warehousing, inventory management and distribution.

- Ensuring efficient stock movement, inventory accuracy and timely fulfilment.

- Coordinating with vendors, logistics partners and internal stakeholders.

- Monitoring operational costs, service levels and process efficiency.

2. Customer & Service Operations:

- Managing customer service processes and ensuring timely resolution of customer queries and issues.

- Supporting contact centre operations, service management and customer care.

- Coordinating with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

- Monitoring service delivery metrics and identifying opportunities for improvement.

3. Systems, MIS & Process Management:

- Working with ERP and other technology platforms to manage operational workflows.

- Maintaining accurate operational data, MIS and performance dashboards.

- Identifying process gaps and supporting the implementation of systems and controls.

- Driving operational efficiency through better processes, technology and data.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

We are looking for someone who brings a combination of structured corporate experience and entrepreneurial operating exposure.

- B.E./B.Tech with an MBA from a reputed institution, preferably.

- Approximately 3 - 5 years of relevant professional experience.

- Ideally, around 2 years of experience in a multinational manufacturing or technology organisation.

- Additional experience in a startup or entrepreneurial environment, working closely with the Founder, CEO or senior leadership.

- Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving abilities.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

- Comfortable working with ERPs, technology platforms and data-driven systems.

- Highly organised, responsive and execution-oriented.

- A quick learner who is willing to take on diverse responsibilities beyond a narrowly defined job description.
