Job Description

We are looking for an Operations Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our record production and fulfilment activities.

The role involves coordinating record orders from production through to packing and fulfilment, maintaining quality standards, managing inventory and production schedules, and ensuring that customer and artist orders are completed accurately and on time.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily record production and order fulfilment operations.

  • Coordinate production schedules and prioritise incoming orders.

  • Monitor the progress of record orders from production to final packing.

  • Conduct quality checks on completed records, printed materials and packaging.

  • Maintain accurate records of production, inventory and completed orders.

  • Coordinate stock levels for records, sleeves, labels, packaging and other production materials.

  • Liaise with artists, customers, suppliers and external production partners where required.

  • Coordinate preparation of artwork, labels, sleeves and other materials required for each order.

  • Ensure orders are correctly packed, labelled and prepared for collection or delivery.

  • Identify and resolve operational issues affecting production schedules or order quality.

  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for production and fulfilment.

  • Train and supervise staff involved in production, packing and fulfilment.

  • Maintain an organised and safe production workspace.

  • Assist management with planning production capacity, inventory requirements and operational improvements.

  • Support special projects, artist releases and larger production orders when required.

Requirements

  • Strong organisational and coordination skills.

  • Able to manage multiple orders and production timelines concurrently.

  • Good attention to detail and quality control.

  • Comfortable working with physical products, production equipment and inventory.

  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.

  • Able to work independently and coordinate with a small team.

  • Interest or experience in music, vinyl records, physical media or creative production will be advantageous.
