Operations Supervisor
The Operations Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supervising the company's daily business and service operations. The position oversees manpower deployment, site operations, service quality, client coordination, operational resources and staff performance to ensure that all contracts and assignments are completed efficiently and according to company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and supervise daily operational activities across multiple client sites.
- Plan and coordinate manpower deployment according to operational requirements.
- Prepare work schedules, duty rosters and staff deployment plans.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, productivity and performance.
- Supervise site supervisors and operational employees.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor service delivery and operational standards.
- Coordinate with clients regarding service schedules, manpower requirements and operational matters.
- Handle operational issues, client feedback and complaints and ensure timely resolution.
- Ensure all employees follow company SOPs, workplace safety procedures and client site requirements.
- Monitor availability and proper utilisation of equipment, vehicles, tools and operational supplies.
- Coordinate procurement and replenishment of operational materials when required.
- Maintain operational records, attendance records, inspection reports and service documentation.
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly operational reports for management.
- Monitor contract requirements and ensure services are delivered according to agreed specifications.
- Assist with mobilisation of new contracts, including manpower planning, site preparation and operational arrangements.
- Identify operational inefficiencies and recommend improvements to management.
- Coordinate staff training, briefings and on-the-job guidance.
- Support recruitment and deployment planning based on business requirements.
- Monitor overtime, leave, replacements and manpower shortages.
- Coordinate emergency manpower replacement and operational support when required.
- Work closely with management on operational planning, budgeting and resource utilisation.
- Perform other operational duties reasonably assigned by management.
