Operations Supervisor (Warehouse Operations)

Job descriptions:

• Supervising warehouse operations, including deployment of operators and equipment, inventory management and reporting function.
• Manage daily operations and ad hoc requests and requirements from customers.
• Month end stock take and reconciliation of inventory.
• Lead, develop and supervise a team of workers to support the activities of the company.
• Ensure strict adherence to workplace safety and health requirements.
• Look for and work on continuous improvement of productivity.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers, taking ownership of operational enquiries, issue resolution and escalation while maintaining strong customer relationships

Requirements:

• Degree / Diploma in Logistics Management or equivalent.
• Experience in managing warehouse / logistics operations such as inventory management, material reconciliation, etc.
• Strong in managing teams and excellent manpower deployment & optimisation skills.
• Excellent supervisory and interpersonal skills are a must.
• IT savviness is expected with good working knowledge of MS Application, particularly Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook.
• Problem solving and analytical skills are necessary.
• Strong interpersonal and customer management skills, with the ability to handle challenging situations and manage customer expectations professionally.
• May be required to operate a forklift as part of operational duties to support the team.
