Operations Support Officer (School Campus)

Core Responsibilities

  • Estate Cleanliness: Maintain general hygiene and cleanliness across the school compound, including specialized staff rooms, CCA venues, and common areas. Duties involve sweeping, mopping, and prompt clearing of rubbish.
  • Logistics & Events: Arrange and re-arrange classroom furniture, chairs, and tables for school examinations, corporate meetings, and institutional functions.
  • Heavy Lifting: Manually move heavy objects, equipment, and delivered materials from point to point across the school campus.
  • Security & Operations: Lock and unlock classrooms or facilities daily to secure the premises. Operate and manage basic office equipment or machinery as required.
  • Ad-Hoc Tasks: Carry out any other facility support duties assigned by the School Reporting Officer.

Working Hours & Schedule

  • Days: Mondays to Fridays.
  • Rotating Shifts: Personnel must work on a roster basis (inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break):Shift A: 6:00am to 3:00pmShift B: 10:00am to 7:00pm
  • Rest Days: Off on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted Public Holidays. Note: Must be open to occasional Saturday shifts if explicitly deemed necessary by school events.

Job Requirements

  • Communication: Ability to read, understand, and communicate effectively with school staff and team members.
  • Physical Fitness: Possess a high level of physical fitness and resilience to perform manual cleaning, sorting, and heavy object lifting effectively.
  • Flexibility: Fully comfortable adhering to a rotating shift schedule.
  • Preferred Experience: Prior experience in commercial cleaning, building logistics, school environment operations, or basic administrative support is a major advantage
