Operations Support Officer (Secondary School)
Key Responsibilities:
- Estate Cleanliness & Maintenance:Perform routine cleaning duties around the school compound.Monitor stocks of cleaning and toilet supplies and report shortages to the Operations Manager.Identify and report building faults to the Operations Manager using mobile messaging apps.
- Logistics & Event Support:Provide hands-on physical support for school events, including moving and arranging furniture.Put up decorations across the campus for major festive celebrations.
- Security & Operations:Manage school closing procedures to keep all facilities safe and locked up.Escort and supervise external term contractors during on-site facilities maintenance.Assist with traffic marshalling within the school compound during peak hours.
- Administrative Assistance:Handle light administrative tasks like receiving goods and compiling delivery orders.Execute any other ad-hoc operational support duties assigned by the school management.
Job Requirements
- Education: Minimum Primary 6 local school education or equivalent qualification.
- Experience: Prior experience in commercial cleaning or customer service roles is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Must know how to use WhatsApp or equivalent mobile apps to capture and send photos for fault reporting.
- Physical Capability: Must be physically fit and capable of lifting and moving equipment for event setups.
- Personal Qualities: Good interpersonal skills, a well-mannered disposition, and a strong team-player attitude.
Working Hours & Location
- Location: 20 Dunman Lane, Singapore 439272
- Mondays to Thursdays: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM (inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break)
- Fridays: 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM (inclusive of a 30-minute lunch break)
- Rest Days: Closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and all gazetted Public Holidays
