Operations Technician

You install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mining and facility equipment at the data center. You diagnose failures, manage cooling systems, respond to power and network issues, track assets, prepare reports, and improve maintenance workflows during day or night shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose problems and repair or replace parts
  • Test and adjust equipment
  • Install and maintain mining and facility equipment
  • Provide emergency and scheduled maintenance
  • Supervise mining machines and network equipment
  • Operate and manage cooling equipment
  • Assist with replacement machine deployment
  • Respond to power failures, network issues, and overheating events
  • Tag assets and update tracking logs
  • Prepare daily equipment reports
  • Analyze workflows and operational issues
  • Contribute to technical reports and the maintenance knowledge base

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Understanding of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Google Docs, inventory management, and machine monitoring software
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to work around heat, noise, and vibration
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb throughout the shift
  • Ability to frequently lift or move items over 50 pounds
  • Technical degree in a computer-related, electronic, or electrical field preferred
  • 1-2 years of relevant work experience preferred
  • Background check and drug screening required
