Summary
Performs manual and equipment-based tasks to support plant operations, including site maintenance, equipment upkeep, and safety compliance in a physical work environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of manual tasks to support the overall operations of our organization. This role involves physical work, adaptability to different tasks, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- General Labor: Engage in various physical tasks such as loading and unloading materials, digging, lifting, and carrying items as required.
- Site Maintenance: Knowledge of controls of Dry Plant, Wet Plant and Loadout
- Equipment Maintenance: Responsible for upkeep of machines and equipment, as well as follow safe work practices. Should have an understanding of all locations of the plant and a basic knowledge of preventive maintenance.
- Leadership: Ability to train lower-level operators with the ability to identify problems during production and correct the issue with the approval of the lead and/or plant manager.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic tools and equipment, such as shovels, wheelbarrows, and power tools, as required for specific tasks as well as skid steer, manlift, telehandler and track hoe.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines. Ability to fill in other positions as needed.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and have the ability to identify safety concerns and propose corrective actions.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with supervisors and team members to ensure a smooth workflow and address any issues that may arise.
