Operator 6, Warehousing
Summary
Oversee daily warehouse tasks like receiving, storing, and distributing materials using ERP systems and forklifts in a manufacturing environment.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Complete daily activities of warehouse operations.
- Manage the warehouse goods from receiving to kitting.
Education & Experience
- Intermediate Graduate or College Graduate
Typically requires a minimum of 3 + years of related experience;
Skills
- Able to work under pressure and manage high-volume operations.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Excel and warehouse management software.
- Forklift operation certification and safety training certificate required.
Basic English communication skills are an advantage.
Working Conditions
- Works in standard manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to a variety of compounds, solvents and chemicals.
Physical Requirements
- Deliver materials/products to the production floor safely and in good condition after completing the delivery transaction in the ERP system
- Ensure the shortest possible delivery lead time from the warehouse to the production area.
- Properly use warehouse tools and equipment during material and finished goods transfers, and arrange inventory systematically to optimize warehouse space utilization
Receive Work Orders (WO) or Stock Requisitions, perform material picking, and verify actual quantities against ERP system requirements in a timely manner
Issue materials in accordance with the FIFO (First In, First Out) principle or based on expiration-date requirements
Ensure all materials are properly identified with labels and scanned into the system before being transferred to production
Receive and verify actual quantities and item descriptions against receiving documents before processing transactions in the ERP system and supplying production in a timely manner
Immediately report to the supervisor any discrepancies, damage, deformation, moisture exposure, or abnormal conditions found during receiving
Retain and transfer all supplier documentation to the responsible stakeholders
- Ensure all materials are clearly labeled with complete information, including Part Number, Description, Quantity, and other required details
Receive and inspect actual materials, sub-assemblies, or semi-finished products returned from production.
Ensure all goods are barcode-scanned and the actual counted quantities are accurately recorded in the ERP system.

Safety Requirements
- Maintain 5S and good housekeeping standards in the work area and throughout the warehouse.
- Follow all Work Instructions (WI) and warehouse operating procedures (SOP)
- Comply with all safety requirements, regulations, and workplace discipline throughout daily operations
