Operator
Summary
Operate and maintain industrial machinery in a manufacturing plant, performing setup, monitoring, and routine inspections to ensure efficient production.
The Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring the Mechanical Dryer Human Machine Interface (HMI) to support the efficient operation of the manufacturing process. Responsibilities include:
- Monitor and maintain machinery and equipment.
- Set up equipment for production activities.
- Operate the Mechanical Dryer Human Machine Interface (HMI) and related equipment to complete assigned tasks.
- Perform routine inspections of equipment.
- Evaluate equipment performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in the training and guidance of new or junior operators when required.
Experience
Relevant operating experience in a waterworks, wastewater treatment plant, process plant, or similar industrial environment preferred.
Requirements
- Experience in water treatment, wastewater treatment, process plant, utility plant preferred.
- Ability to operate and monitor Mechanical Dryer Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems and related plant equipment.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical equipment, pumps, motors, and process operations.
- Able to perform routine inspections and identify equipment or operational issues.
- Familiar with workplace safety practices and procedures.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
