Our facility in Mainz-Hechtsheim currently employs approximately 230 people.
Founded in 1994 as DILAS Diodenlaser GmbH, the company quickly established itself as a leading manufacturer of high-power diode lasers. At our two locations in Mainz and Freiburg, we develop and produce both high-power diode laser components and systems with a wide range of power levels and wavelengths.
DILAS has been part of the Coherent Group since November 2016.
For our production, we are looking for manufacturing employees who can support us at short notice and on a temporary basis until 31/01/2027 in various work areas during early and late shifts.
The required qualifications and tasks described are therefore quite diverse.
Tasks
- Preparatory activities within production
- Assembly of precision mechanical and micro-optical components
- Operation of semi-automatic and fully automatic machines
- Gold plating of product components using various chemical systems
Profile
- Prior knowledge of (precision) mechanics, electronics, micro-optics, or chemistry
- Strong manual dexterity and a high level of quality awareness
- Team player
- Reliable, flexible, meticulous, and able to work under pressure
