Operators – Semiconductor Hardware Assembly and Testing
Summary
Assembles and tests semiconductor hardware components using hand tools and equipment, following SOPs and quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform assembly, installation, and testing of semiconductor hardware, components, and sub-assemblies according to work instructions and SOPs.
- Operate mechanical hand tools, testing equipment, assembly fixtures, and related equipment safely and correctly.
- Perform mechanical assembly, component fitting, wiring, tubing, and basic hardware installation.
- Conduct functional, visual, and dimensional inspections to ensure products meet specifications and quality requirements.
- Follow approved work instructions, engineering drawings, BOMs, and process requirements.
- Record assembly and testing results accurately in production records and/or MES systems.
- Identify and report abnormalities, defects, equipment issues, and testing failures.
- Support troubleshooting and corrective actions for assembly and testing issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S, ESD, safety, and quality requirements.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and perform other production-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- N-Level, O-Level, NITEC, Higher NITEC, or equivalent.
- 1–2 years of experience in manufacturing, semiconductor, electronics, mechanical assembly, or testing is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical assembly, electrical/electronic components, hand tools, and testing equipment.
- Able to read and understand basic work instructions, drawings, and safety requirements in English.
- Good attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality.
- Responsible, disciplined, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Willing to learn and adapt to new processes and equipment.
- Willing to work overtime and/or shift work when required.
- Willing to work in East region, Changi North Cresent.
