We are a well-established and growing private ophthalmology practice located in York, Pennsylvania, committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered eye care. As our practice expands, we are seeking a dedicated General Ophthalmologist to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive general ophthalmic care to a diverse patient population
- Perform ocular exams, diagnostics, and surgical procedures as appropriate
- Collaborate with the practice’s glaucoma/retina specialist for comprehensive patient care
- Support practice growth, patient education, and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- MD or DO with completion of an ACGME-accredited Ophthalmology residency
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
- Fellowship in Cornea welcomed but not required
- Excellent clinical, surgical, and communication skills
- New graduates are encouraged to apply

Qualifications
Minimum Education:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) Required or
- Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Required
Licenses:
- Licensed Medical Physician and Surgeon Upon Hire Required or
- Licensed Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine Upon Hire Required
Courses and Training:
- Boarded in appropriate specialty. Upon Hire Required and
- Completion of a residency. Upon Hire Required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Teaching skills.
- Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology.
- Good phone skills.
- Excellent Customer Service.
- Organized, sets priorities, and able to multi-task.
