Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–1:00 PM

Overview
Simon & Schuster is currently seeking a 1st Shift Voice Picker to join our Split Case Department at our distribution center.
Simon & Schuster is a 100-year-old book publishing company with offices around the world.

What You Will Do

Pick orders using voice-picking equipment.

Follow simple voice commands to accurately fulfill book orders.

Meet or exceed the LM SOP picking quota.

Scan labels using a finger scanner.

Perform replenishment tasks as needed.

Work in other areas of the operation as needed.

Take direction from different leads when working in other areas.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements

High school diploma preferred.

Ability to read and understand shipping labels.

Ability to understand and follow simple verbal commands.

Ability to meet daily LM picking quotas.

Strong attention to detail.

Good listening and basic math skills.

Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds.

Strong communication skills.

Ability to stand and remain active for up to 8 hours per day.

Ability and willingness to follow all safety policies and procedures.

Willingness to work overtime as needed, including both voluntary and mandatory overtime.
