About the Role:

We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and experienced Optician or Optical Sales Associate to join this well-established team at a physician-owned, private practice. The ideal candidate is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, enjoys assisting patients with eyewear selection, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greets patients and assists them in selecting eyeglass frames and lenses.
• Provides expert advice on lens options, coatings, and frame styles.
• Takes accurate measurements for eyeglasses (PD, segment height, etc.) and ensures a proper fit.
• Processes eyewear orders, checks in and inspects new glasses, and completes adjustments and repairs.
• Educates patients on eyewear options, lens technologies, and proper care for glasses and contacts.
• Maintains accurate records of purchases and patient information.
• Supports daily office functions and keeps the optical area clean and organized.

Requirements:

• Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills and deliver outstanding customer service.
• Previous experience in optical sales as an optician is required.
• Must show strong attention to detail and organizational skills, adapt quickly to a dynamic retail environment, demonstrate efficiency, effectiveness, and commitment to patient satisfaction, arrive on time and maintain a stellar attendance record, and use reliable transportation.
