The practice provides comprehensive eye exams and care for a wide range of needs, including eye diseases, eye conditions, children’s vision care, and ongoing preventive eye health. You’ll join an established team supported by tenured optometrists, experienced staff, and a dedicated Practice Manager who helps ensure smooth daily operations so you can focus on delivering exceptional care.


What you'll do:

As a part-time Optometrist, you’ll provide comprehensive primary vision and eye health care in a high-end boutique clinic, caring for patients of all ages and managing a variety of vision and eye health conditions. This role offers a consistent Monday, Wednesday, and Friday schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with eight-hour days and approximately 16 patients per day. You’ll have access to advanced diagnostic technology, including digital retinal imaging, and the support of a highly skilled team. In addition to competitive pay, this opportunity includes a CE allowance and production bonus.

Candidates may be recent graduates or seasoned professionals; however, all applicants must possess a current California optometry license. Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D. including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure

1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills

Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service

Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties

Working Conditions

The working environment is generally favorable, lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
