Optometrist (Part-time)
Summary
Part-time optometrist/optician performs eye exams, fits contact lenses, advises customers on eyewear, and handles retail duties in a Singaporean optical store.
We are looking for professional Part-Time Optometrists and Opticians who are seeking flexible work arrangements within a retail environment.
Location: Islandwide
Minimum Commitment: At least 2 weekdays per week
Hourly Rate (contracts are welcome too)
Optician / Optometrist
Weekdays: $23 – $29 per hour
Weekends: $28 – $34 per hour

Key Responsibilities
Conduct refraction tests for customers aged 8 years and above.
Interpret and dispense optical prescriptions accurately.
Edge lenses according to prescribed specifications.
Dispense and adjust spectacle frames and perform contact lens fitting.
Follow up on customers’ appointments and provide after-sales support.
Provide professional consultation on spectacles, lenses, contact lenses, and Ortho-K solutions.
Support daily retail operations, including sales and inventory management.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
Candidates must possess an approved Opticianry or Optometry qualification (Pre-registered / Provisional candidates are welcome to apply).
Prior retail experience is an advantage; however, candidates with no experience are also welcome to apply.
Strong communication skills with a proactive and positive working attitude.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Good command of spoken and written English.
Willing to work retail hours, including long standing hours, weekends, and public holidays.
Currently not employed in any optical related employment.
Training will be provided for suitable candidates
