An optometrist conducts eye exams, detects abnormalities or diseases, and runs independent clinics while supporting ophthalmologists in a healthcare setting.
Als optometrist doe je onderzoek bij patiënten om afwijkingen of oogziektes op te sporen. Zoals funduscopie, gezichtsveldonderzoek, netvliesscan en fluorescentieangiogram. Daarnaast draai je zelfstandig spreekuren en ondersteun je de oogarts.
