Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Oracle ADF Consultant to join the GlobalFoundries project as a replacement for an existing team member. The consultant will be responsible for development, enhancement, troubleshooting and support of applications developed using Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF).

The role requires strong hands-on experience in Oracle ADF and Java-based application development, with the ability to understand existing applications, analyze requirements and independently deliver enhancements and fixes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and enhance applications using Oracle ADF.
• Develop and maintain application components using ADF Business Components (ADF BC), ADF Faces/Rich Faces and ADF Task Flows.
• Develop UI pages, page fragments, templates and bounded/unbounded task flows.
• Implement business logic using ADF Business Components.
• Work with Oracle JDeveloper for application development, debugging and deployment.
• Analyze functional/business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot application defects and provide root-cause analysis and fixes.
• Develop and consume web services / integrations as required.
• Support application deployment and configuration in Oracle environments.
• Perform unit testing, code review, defect resolution and performance optimization.
• Prepare/update technical design and application documentation.

Work closely with functional consultants, technical team members and client stakeholders for requirement clarification, testing and production support.
