Location: Boston MA or NYC
Onsite Requirements: Hybrid, 1 day a week
Compensation Range: $60-65/hr W2

Introduction
Our client is looking for a Senior Business Analyst - Finance Systems to serve as a strategic partner between Finance and Technology, helping deliver enterprise-wide improvements across a complex Oracle Fusion ERP ecosystem.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving business problems--not just documenting requirements. You'll work closely with Finance leaders, business stakeholders, and technical teams to evaluate existing processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and deliver scalable Oracle Fusion solutions that support long-term business objectives.
The ideal candidate understands that Finance does not operate in isolation. They recognize how operational functions such as procurement, inventory, order management, and supply chain influence financial performance and can translate those relationships into effective system solutions. This role offers the opportunity to lead initiatives from initial discovery through implementation while driving meaningful process improvements across a highly integrated enterprise environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Partner with Finance leadership and business stakeholders to evaluate existing processes and identify opportunities for operational and system improvements.
  • Facilitate requirements workshops, stakeholder interviews, and process discovery sessions to define business needs.
  • Develop business requirements, functional specifications, process documentation, workflow diagrams, and user stories.
  • Lead initiatives through the complete project lifecycle, including planning, solution design, testing, implementation, and post-production support.
  • Work alongside Oracle Fusion developers and functional consultants to ensure solutions align with both technical capabilities and business objectives.
  • Evaluate end-to-end business processes spanning Financials, Procurement, Inventory Management, Order Management, and other integrated Oracle applications.
  • Recommend process enhancements that improve efficiency, automation, and data integrity across the enterprise.
  • Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), issue resolution, and production readiness activities.
  • Maintain project artifacts and documentation using Agile project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Collaborate across Finance, IT, and operational teams to ensure enterprise data flows and system integrations support organizational goals.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Candidates should possess the following qualifications:
  • Five or more years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Functional Business Analyst, or Oracle ERP Business Analyst supporting enterprise applications.
  • Strong experience working within Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, specifically supporting Finance modules.
  • Proven success leading initiatives through the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from business analysis and solution design through deployment and production support.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Finance operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Financial Close, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash processes.
  • Ability to analyze business operations across multiple functional areas and understand how upstream business activities impact downstream financial reporting.
  • Experience working within complex, highly integrated ERP environments where Oracle Financials interfaces with multiple enterprise systems.
  • Strong business process analysis, process mapping, and requirements documentation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to bridge communication between business stakeholders and technical development teams.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence decisions across multiple business units.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
The following experience is highly valued but not required:
  • Oracle Fusion Financials configuration experience.
  • Participation in Oracle Fusion implementations, upgrades, or major transformation initiatives.
  • Previous experience as an Oracle Functional Consultant.
  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and Scrum environments.
  • Experience utilizing Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or comparable project management platforms.
  • Business process modeling experience using Visio, Lucidchart, or BPMN.
  • Experience supporting enterprise integrations, data conversions, and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Industry experience within manufacturing, distribution, retail, publishing, media, or other large-scale enterprise organizations.
