Oracle CCB Functional Testing

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Utilities CCB Functional Testing / Automation Engineer with strong expertise in functional testing, test automation, and billing domain processes. The candidate should have hands-on experience in Oracle Customer Care and Billing (CCB), including customer management, account management, billing, payments, collections, and service-related processes.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Analyze business requirements and functional specifications for Oracle CCB applications.
2. Prepare and execute test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts for end-to-end business processes.
3. Perform functional, system integration (SIT), regression, smoke, and UAT testing.
4. Validate core CCB modules:
   
• Customer Information Person, Account, Premise, Service Point.
• Service Agreement (SA) and Start/Stop Service.
• Meter Management and Meter Readings.
• Billing, Bill Segmentation, and Bill Calculation.
• Rate Schedules and Rate Configuration.
• Payments, Adjustments, and Refunds.
• Credit and Collections.
• Field Activities (FA) and Service Orders.
• Deposits and Financial Transactions.

1. Perform backend database validation using SQL queries.
2. Validate inbound and outbound integrations between CCB and external applications.
3. Perform API and web services testing using SOAP UI or Postman.
4. Validate batch jobs, batch execution, and financial processing.
5. Develop and maintain automation scripts using Selenium, UFT, or Oracle Utilities Testing Accelerator (OUTA), depending on project requirements.
6. Identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, HP ALM, or Azure DevOps.
7. Perform defect triage, root cause analysis, retesting, and regression validation.
8. Coordinate with functional consultants, developers, business analysts, and business users.
9. Prepare test execution reports, defect reports, and testing status updates.

Candidate Experience Requirements

• 4-8 years of overall software testing experience.
• 25 years of hands-on Oracle CCB testing experience.
• Strong understanding of utility business processes.
• Experience in at least one end-to-end Oracle CCB implementation or support project.
• Hands-on experience in functional and regression testing.
• Exposure to automation frameworks and tools.
