Title: Oracle Cloud HCM Payroll Functional

Location: Hyderabad

Exp Level: 10+ Years

Education: Bachelor’s degree

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead and support Oracle Fusion Payroll implementations for US and Caribbean countries

  • Gather and analyze payroll requirements and translate them into scalable Oracle solutions

  • Act as Payroll Subject Matter Expert (SME) for payroll configuration including Federal, State, and Local tax configuration, statutory deductions, taxes, and social security contributions

  • Configure payroll elements, balances, fast formulas, payroll calendars, costing, and retro pay

  • Solid understanding of payroll processes and statutory rules

  • Support quarterly and yearend payroll processing (941, W2, W2c)

  • Prepare Functional Requirement Documents (FRD) and solution design documents

  • Configure payroll elements, balances, fast formulas, costing, and payment methods

  • Lead payroll testing activities including SIT, UAT, and parallel payroll runs

  • Support payroll integrations with General Ledger, banking systems, and Time & Labor

  • Handle payroll reconciliations, compliance checks, and audit support

  • Provide postgolive / AMS support, manage payroll issues, and drive continuous improvements

  • Perform impact analysis and support Oracle Cloud quarterly updates

  • Mentor junior consultants and act as a payroll subject matter expert

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management

  • Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams

Nice to Have:

  • Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll Certification

  • Functional knowledge of Oracle Absence Management and Oracle Time and Labor (OTL)

  • Exposure to multicountry or regional payroll implementations (United States Payroll/Latin America Payroll/Caribbean Payroll)
