Oracle Database Administrator
Summary
Onsite Oracle Database Administrator at Berenberg, a European private bank in Central London, responsible for administering and deploying high-availability Oracle databases (RAC), plus migrations, patches, upgrades and process automation using SQL, PL/SQL, Ansible, Shell and Linux.
Salary: £60,000 - 90,000 per year
Requirements:- A successfully completed degree in IT or an equivalent qualification
- Extensive experience with Oracle RAC
- Several years experience in database administration, particularly with relational database systems
- Knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, Ansible and scripting languages (Shell) is an advantage
- Experience with Linux is desirable
- Very good written and spoken English
- Administration, configuration and implementation of databases in a demanding high-availability environment (Oracle)
- Planning and deployment of new databases
- Automation of existing processes
- Carrying out database migrations, patches and upgrades

- Ensuring the smooth operation of storage and archiving processes
