Oracle Database Administrator

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Design, implement, and maintain Oracle databases for large-scale applications using 10g and above versions.
• Perform SQL tuning to optimize database performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability.
• Implement Data Guard for disaster recovery purposes and perform regular backups using RMAN.
• Monitor database health by analyzing logs, metrics, and alerts to identify potential issues before they impact production systems.

Job Requirements :

• 4-6 years of experience in Oracle DBA role with expertise in 12c, AWR (Advanced Workload Reports), Dataguard, Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters).
• Strong knowledge of SQL tuning techniques to improve query performance.
• Experience with backup strategies such as RMAN (Recovery Manager) for disaster recovery purposes.
