Manages and optimizes Oracle database environments (11g/12c/multitenant) with performance tuning, high availability solutions, and backup/recovery strategies in a 24x7 support role.
- Manage and support Oracle database environments including 11g, 12c, and multitenant architectures.
- Perform advanced performance tuning at query, database, and memory levels to ensure optimal system performance.
- Implement and manage high availability solutions such as RAC, Data Guard, ASM, and Exadata.
- Configure and maintain Oracle GoldenGate, including high availability setups.
- Execute backup and recovery strategies ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime.
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, including escalations, with strong troubleshooting methodologies.
- Collaborate with Oracle Development and Support teams to resolve critical customer issues.
- Identify and recommend proactive improvements to enhance system performance, stability, and security.
- 10+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA / Consultant / Support Engineer.
- Strong expertise in Oracle Database (11g/12c) and core DBA functions.
- Deep knowledge of performance tuning (SQL/query tuning, DB tuning, memory tuning).
- Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, Exadata, and Backup & Recovery.
- Working knowledge of Oracle Multitenant architecture.
- Experience implementing high availability solutions.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage escalated technical situations and drive resolution plans.
- Willingness to work in a 24x7 support environment.
